Prize drawings

Some of the surveys we will be conducting on Surveysonline.com will include prize drawings as an added incentive for your participation. The prizes will vary depending on the survey, but will likely include cash or merchandise. The e-mail invitation for the survey will clearly note when a prize drawing will take place.

Interesting surveys

Part of our goal at Surveysonline.com is to present you with interesting, stimulating, visually pleasing surveys. We welcome any feedback you wish to give, and will occasionally ask you directly what you think of a specific survey and its online appearance.

Your privacy assured

The demographic information you provide, including your e-mail address, will never be sold to other companies. When you sign up to join the Surveysonline.com Panel, that is all you are joining. II.  Frequently Asked Questions

I've joined your panel, now what happens?

The information you have provided is entered into a database to await studies for which you will be specifically qualified. When those studies arrive, you are sent an e-mail invitation to participate in an online study. The invitation will include a link which will take you directly to the questionnaire.

How long are the surveys and how often will I be asked to participate?

We know your time is valuable and we do our best to make sure all studies are as brief as possible, usually taking less than 10 minutes to complete. Occasionally, we will send you an invitation to take a survey which may take as long as 20 minutes to complete. With regard to how often you'll be receiving an invitation, our hope is to limit the number of studies an individual will participate in to 1-3 per month. Some months you will not receive any invitations, other months possibly more.

I've received an invitation to do a survey, how much time do I now have to take the survey?

It depends on the study. Sometimes there is a time crunch and we will need to gather the results as quickly as possible. For other studies there may not be such time constraints. Generally, after receiving the invitation, we request that you complete the survey within a three-day period.

Is there any cost to join the Panel at Surveysonline.com?

There is no fee. The surveyonline.com Panel is completely voluntary. We do not charge a fee of any kind.

What happens if I've been away or am too busy to do a survey?

Nothing. We know that not everyone will be able to complete every survey within a specific period of time. We will just hope to catch you the next time.

I won a prize from completing a survey. How do I claim the prize?

All prize winners will be notified by e-mail. At that time we will ask for a mailing address where we can send the check or merchandise. We may ask your permission to post your name to be included in a future Prize Winners area on the Web site. We will not post a name without permission.

If for some reason I am having difficulty accessing the survey, what do I do?

There will be an e-mail address included with every e-mail invitation to which you can send any questions or problems you might have. You will also be able to reply to the e-mail invitation itself. At any time, you can send an e-mail to panelmgmt@surveysonline.com and we will respond as quickly as possible.

If I don't like the subject matter of a particular survey, what should I do?

Please feel free to simply decline to participate. If you would like to send us a note indicating your reasons, please do so. It will have no effect on your standing as a panel member.

What can I do if I want to change the e-mail address you send the invitations to?

If you are switching to a different primary e-mail address, please let us know by sending an e-mail to panelmgmt@surveysonline.com. If you have any changes in your personal demographic information (for instance, you've moved to another part of the country or had a change in marital status), please let us know as well.

What if I no longer want to be part of the Surveysonline.com Panel?

With any e-mail invitation, you can simply reply that you would like to be removed from the panel. At that time you will be removed from the panel. You can also be removed from the panel by sending an e-mail to panelmgmt@surveysonline.com. Just be sure to use the e-mail address you used to join.

III.  Our Commitment To Privacy

The members of the panel for Surveysonline.com can rest assured that the information they provide will be used for market research purposes only. Your confidence in us is of the utmost importance. (Note: we do not ask for personal information such as one's social security number, phone number, or street address. The only instance when we would need to obtain your street address is to send you a check or a prize for completing a specific survey, and that will be clearly indicated at that time.) Your name/e-mail address will be used only in conjunction with surveys conducted by our firm. We do not sell our lists to outside companies, organizations, or agencies. The answers that panel members give when participating in a research study are combined with the other respondents' answers to form "group" information. Responses are never isolated individually, and all of the information given is strictly confidential.
